As I mentioned earlier, I am illustrating the covers of the current series of Urban Walkabout guides for a variety of suburbs in Melbourne. Fitzroy/Collingwood, the second in the series, is now out and about.

Ceramic collaboration with Craft Victoria
Recently Craft Victoria asked me if I would like to work on a little collaboration with them to illustrate a ceramic cup and bowl set. I said yes just about as quickly as I possibly could. I love Craft Victoria. In fact if I wrote down a list of all the people I would like to work with as an illustrator, they would feature pretty high up the top. They make nice things, and they support artists and crafters who make nice things. So, you can possibly tell it was with happy hands that I got out my pen and ink and started drawing some ideas. As seen above, part of the process has been cutting out and sticking said drawings around a beautiful ceramic cup and bowl created by Ingrid Tufts - just to get an idea of how it will all play out.
That's where it's at right now and hopefully I will have more pictures of the finished pieces very soon.
