I am slowly beginning to think about a new series of work. I'm excited about this one, I feel like something happy might come about. We shall see... just stretching paper at this stage. I have recently been very inspired by the work of Amanda Blake so I'm wondering if I might like to think up some new ladies in small portrait style...
Aren't they beautiful, these two are also favourites...
If you would like to know more about Amanda Blake, she currently has a great interview over at Artists Who Blog.

These are lovely, and I can really see them in your style. The hair clip on the first one is a particularly nice touch I think. The paper stretching looks like it's going well for you. I've been trying but have had a few duds, I guess I just have to work on my technique!

Wow, Amanda Blake's work is gorgeous. Can't wait to see what she inspires you to create.

Thanks Luci!
Hi Camila, I've had a few duds myself! I recommend using a slightly absorbent surface like plywood and don't wet the tape too much, that helped me the most. Just wet it enough to make it sticky, oh and start small... I ruined a few A2 sheets of paper :)
