I want to make this:
The internet is so rad, I found this in a random image search and thought that it could only be the individual creation of someone's odd ball imagination. Well, probably yes, but with a bit more looking I found that a pattern is available and it comes from a 1977 publication by Better Homes and Gardens called 'Crocheting and Knitting'. Then a few more clicks and I ended up buying the book from Amazon for $4! 1977 and the future are going to combine to make an excellent crochet blanket... hopefully... if I have the patience...
This is amazing! I've just taught myself to crochet purely for the purpose of making a granny square blanket. Are you going to use rad seventies colours too?

Good luck! you should also try out the mini vases!
