art melbourne...

Here's my next gig! I'm back at the drawing board again in the hope of making a super new series of drawings for Art Melbourne. It's a big art fair... I've never done an art fair before. Hope it's fun and possibly glamourous.

print update...

 

I am planning a small print update for Monday 29th March. I will be adding 8 new prints to the My Folk Lover store and these ones are super deluxe! They are limited edition, and are printed on a heavier fine art paper to my normal prints (308 gsm to be exact). I'm very happy with them, the inky blacks look quite special... oh umm... if I do say so myself.

I'm in Cleo magazine! My teenage self would be like totally OMG.

winter patterns...

This city mouse has been on some country adventures lately. I spent last weekend chopping up fallen trees for firewood, I used a chain-saw! Importantly I still have all limbs intact, which is good news for me. Stacked firewood makes for some very nice patterns...

A little peek at what is in my exhibition at the moment, I will hopefully post a few more over the next couple of days. If you came down on Thursday, thank you! I had such a great night, I bought a dress just in the nick of time, had my tea-light city flickering and actually managed to relax and enjoy myself. It was nice.

I have been in the country for a few days, avoiding everything in an attempt to get my drawings finished for the show on Thursday. It has been raining all afternoon and it is magic.

My show opens in less than a week and everything is coming together eleventh hour style as per usual. phew!
