pink...

Check these out, I found them yesterday and couldn't resist. They're helping me channel my inner Dolly and go so well with the pink sand that is covering the gallery floor...

Last night the girls were installing all the lights and projections for the big show and there was a crazy woman a bit further up the street in pink hot pants swearing and bashing in shop windows with a big stick. Every time we heard her we'd have to turn everything off and all run and hide down the back and call the cops. It was a pink day.

somersaults and strange company...

I have been a little quiet lately, partly due to the fact that I'm drawing, drawing, drawing in preparation for my next solo show. I'm afraid I might be a little relentless with the spam over the next couple of weeks because... I'm nervous... and I want you to come! Here are all the details:

terra interstellar...

I'm trying to be a bit more professional and start stretching my watercolour paper. The process is not going too well.

I have no pictures either. What an exciting post this one is.

I have exactly four weeks until my next solo exhibition opens and as usual I'm doing battle with the art monster to get the right pictures to appear. I'm thinking of calling the show Somersaults and Strange Company.

Oh, actually I do have a picture. It has something to do with the fact that I am currently sitting in the studio surrounded by mounds of pink and green sand. Thanks to our next group of excellent artists Extended Play gallery is evolving into an alien ecosystem for the month of February...
