I am in a couple of nice exhibitions at the moment. Opening on the weekend at Nine Lives gallery in Brisbane is a show called Small Fry, it has an excellent line up of artists and should be a good one.
If you're in Barcelona there is a show called Dona at Espai Cromatic, this show also has a great line up of artists from all over the world. Wish I was close enough to visit!
I should also mention some super annoying news which couldn't have come at a worse time... there has been a postal strike happening over the last week in Victoria (unfortunately where I happen to be). All my shop orders have been packaged up and are on their way, I'm not sure if the strike has affected their delivery but if you haven't got yours yet, it should be with you soon. I'm very sorry about that, I'm sure the posties have good reason but gee, did they have to pick Christmas.
I'm going to gush a bit here, this week I was interviewed by one of my most favourite blogs. The Design Files is in my, and many people's opinion, one of the best blogs you can spend your time reading on the interwebs, particularly if you live in Melbourne! When I popped over there this afternoon and saw what Lucy had posted I was really flattered and very happy. If you don't already read it do go and have a look at The Design Files:

Here is the next event we are very excited about hosting at Extended Play Gallery! Each Saturday over December and January we will have a small pop up shop showcasing lovely things made by some great artists.
The artists involved include Benjamin Sea, Brooke Bobridge, Cat Rabbit, Eveline Tarunadjaja, Heiko, Jam Fancy, Laura McKellar, Lilly Piri, Little Glowing Lights, Mel Stringer, Sarah McNeil, Wendy June, Yok... and many more.
Our official opening will be:

The No Vacancy markets were lots of fun. One of the best bits was being next door neighbours with the amazing Cat Rabbit, a very talented maker of wonderful things. These little creations are seriously excellent and I am very excited that some of them will be making their way into our pop up shop over summer.
