The new issue of Frankie is out and it looks so pretty. I got to do something fun for this issue, I was sent a pair of Vans and I got to turn them into what ever took my fancy. After staring at them in an upside down way for a few days they became a pair of wintery owls...
That's them on the right, next to Mel Stringer, one of my all time favourites. You can also find an interview with Pip's son Ari and right at the very back I spied a full page ad for Finders Keepers Market using my illustration. I'm in love with Frankie magazine, it's the all time greatest magazine on the planet.
V cool shoes!
Am tempted to try it myself : )
Love your prints+ .. gorgeous!

It is a great mag and your work is well-suited to it! Awesome work and hot toe tapping vans.

That is great, when my kids were little you couldn't get great baseball boots so I bought white and painted them myself. They look back at photo's and still love them now. Nothing cooler than hand branded shoes.

Your shoes are so cool, and I love Mel's too. This issue was great! I like the big paola zakimi poster. Nice.

Hehe, did you see me last email? I must have totally missed those shoes!! I still haven't looked all the way through the magazine but it does not surprise me that you pop up somewhere else as well as the finders keepers ad!
