Well it usually takes me a few attempts to get a drawing the way I like it. Here is what I hope is the final version, I don't think she is finished yet, not quite sure but I have this idea of adding tiny bits of imitation gold leaf (I've been very inspired by Klimt recently).
She is for the upcoming show at Brunswick Bound, illustrating the letter S.
S is for the sweet secrets that sink deep beneath the sea.
Klimt’s work is always good for jostling up inspirations. I love the incorporation of the papercut.

Beautiful illustration an I also love Klimt - seeing as I live in Austria where he hails from, his Art can be found in many places & the gold decoration makes me smile. I think if you add it also to your illustration it will make others smile & also dream :)
Wonderful blog!
Take care,

She is gorgeous. I really love the papercut sea, the way she looks out over her shoulder and the darkness above her head. Hope to make it to the show too!

She is beautiful, just like all your girls!
I've just updated my blog so have a look if you have the time. Is there any chance you could maybe put a link from your page to mine? It's lonely when you're just starting out!

Klimt eh? Now I'm going to have to remember where I saw a photographer interpreting Klimt artworks with live models... will try to hunt it down, I think it had bodypaint. Are you going to colour in the tattoos?
