A little while ago I posted an earlier version of this image, however I since became busy with a few illustration jobs so had to stop working on it. This year has been like that, a bit stop/start when it comes to my own work. As I have a few shows coming up towards the end of the year I'm hoping be a bit more focused over the next couple of months. So, now that she is all drawn in I've decided I'm going to ink her up with a few tattoos. I found these amazing images in the December 07 issue of Vogue Italia and then all inspired I ordered Kate Hellenbrand's book of Sailor Jerry's tattoo stencils, which I now see is where they got most of these patterns from...
Oooooh, i've been wanting to see how this pic develops, it's looking beautiful so far. I love your style of work, it's so subtle and beautiful. I just started a blog today and I hope you don't mind but i've got you listed on there under inspiration.
I'm still searching for my voice I think, there's so many diferent things love!

Oooh, I think you would draw such lovely tattoos! I'm looking forward to seeing the drawing when it's all finished!
Also I see you added a Reading side-bar. Did you use the Typepad Typelist for that one? I read 'Almost French' a while ago too, how are you liking it?
