It's almost time for bed but here is a new drawing that I have been finishing up today. She is all set for the little shop update tomorrow afternoon...

All those tiny lines have made me sleepy...

diamond pullovers...

Well I'm not exactly sure how it happened but the work in progress sketch from my last post somehow turned into these two fellows...

They are for a little show that is opening tonight, they are quite tiny, about 6 x 6 inches each. I had a nice time drawing them, I forgot how nice it is to just sit and draw... something other than little girls.

Just a quick little post to say thank you to anyone who made it to our show at Kick gallery. We had such a fun opening night (it is still open until Saturday in case you want to take a look). Two more pieces that I have in the show at Kick gallery. These were done on A3 paper... that's big for me! The one on the left is called 'Sometimes of the Land' and the one on the right is 'Sometimes of the Sea'.

The coloured bits are paper cuttings and the little leaves are made from pin holes...

A little example of some of the work I have in the show at Kick (opening is this Saturday night!):

I fed some phrases into babelfish and then cut them out of paper for the text.

Right now I still have to finish a few pieces so I best be off...

Well I've been battling ye olde art lately. It feels like all I have done for the past two weeks is draw... not great for ones mental health I have decided. I need some sunshine... I need to get out more hehe...

I almost forgot that I had some new art to show... finally! These are the two pieces I made for the exhibition that opened at Kick gallery a couple of weeks ago. It is hard to see the details in these photos but the images are embroidered onto cotton...

Ok this might just be as cool as it gets... I'm in Neighbours! Well, not me personally but my Frankie poster is pinned up in one of the character's bedroom and it has been in the last few episodes...
