I finished the board for Billabong this week, it is currently on show at their Design for Humanity event in Sydney. I now know that a surfboard is a very nice surface to draw on.

Look what arrived on my doorstep this morning! Billabong sent it to me and I will be painting it over the next couple of days and sending it back for their Design for Humanity event.

It's a really beautiful object, it's so smooth and well... I want to keep it and go and lie on it in the sea.

Nope, I'm just going to paint it.

This week something quite exciting happened, I reached sale number 1000 in the My Folk Lover shop! I never never imagined that would happen back in 2007 when I listed my first teacup prints and originals. So thank you to anyone who has ever bought something from me and also to the super people who have mentioned my shop on their website or blog.

My Folk Lover loves you big time.

Which brings me to this... I've made a little package of lovely things and I'm going to give it away. First up is a favourite drawing that has been sitting on my desk for a few months and I thought it might like to go to a good home. It is an original artwork on heavyweight archival paper and measures 6" x 8". There is some paper-cutting, watercolour and gold leaf in there too...

Also included will be 10 big sheets of wrapping paper covered in my little paper-cut characters. Wallpaper your bathroom with this one.

Last but not least, the full set of ladies at sea prints. These are professionally printed on lovely textured heavy weight archival paper and measure 5" x 7" each (there are four prints in total).
