land and sea...

Just a couple of ideas I'm playing with, excuse my messy sketches. I am of land and sea at the moment...

sugar brain...

Just a little work in progress sneak peek, not sure where I am going with this but hopefully I will be making some colourful drawings this week. Everything seems to be in progress at the moment so I'm afraid there hasn't been a lot of show and tell blog action...

slow moving street art...

One of my favourite blogs is called Little People - A Tiny Street Art Project, posts are few and far between but it is well worth keeping an eye on. Recently the person behind the little people has started a new blog called Inner City Snail, it's a slow moving street art project. Well, this is why I like human beings, because some of them have brains that work like this...

around the place...

Just a quick little post to say thank you to anyone who made it to our show at Kick gallery. We had such a fun opening night (it is still open until Saturday in case you want to take a look). Also just letting you know that Frankie magazine has a new website up and running, if you hop over you may notice their banner images look quite familiar.

One more thing... my pieces from the show at Nucleus gallery can now be purchased online. You can view them by clicking here...

sometimes...

Landandsea_2

Two more pieces that I have in the show at Kick gallery. These were done on A3 paper... that's big for me! The one on the left is called 'Sometimes of the Land' and the one on the right is 'Sometimes of the Sea'.

The coloured bits are paper cuttings and the little leaves are made from pin holes...

snip snip...

Kickgirls_480_3

A little example of some of the work I have in the show at Kick (opening is this Saturday night!):

Lightblue

Red

Darkgreen

I fed some phrases into babelfish and then cut them out of paper for the text.

Right now I still have to finish a few pieces so I best be off...

p.s. We start work on a giant wall mural tomorrow, if you are in the area I hope you can pop in on Saturday night. You can find all the details here.
