tagged...

I was recently tagged by two of my favourite blogland people (Elly and Ez), so here goes, rules first...

1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog.

2. Share 5 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.

3. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well
as links to their blogs.

4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Okay...

1. I love going to the gym.

2. This is because my head gets full of silly thoughts, so I like to run and run and run until I'm too tired to think of silly thoughts anymore...

3. I think Amy Winehouse is hot... ha! (ok not when she's super skinny). I'm only thinking this because I just saw her on channel v at the gym.

4. I think channel v is the definition of hyper-mediocrity.

5. I thought of these answers at the gym. The End.

There you go hehe quick sticks, now who wants to play? I tag you...

Also I have to say thankyou to Holly from Decor8 because she's the best and she included me (with some other fantastic artists) in her latest selection for Domino magazine.

shop news...

Today I have a tiny bit of shop news...

You may notice over the next little while that some of my prints are going to have a small increase in price. This is for a very good reason! I am slowly going to change my paper from the standard smooth card stock to some beautiful heavy weight, textured fine art paper. Ooooh it looks nice, if I do say so myself. Each will be professionally printed and they end up having the quality and detail of an inky original. They are also archival, so they will stay looking beautiful for a very long time.

If you were cool enough to snap up some of my new prints the other day, well they will be printed on the new paper too.

Hey I've got nothing specific for show and tell, but come over and have a look if you feel like it (click click click).

And just for something to look at, here's a picture...

new prints...

I have some more pictures to show you, these two are from the Cups and Cuddles exhibition and I didn't get round to scanning them before it opened...

Dancing400
'There used to be a girl who never stood a chance, then she heard the music and all she did was dance'

Feathertail400
'Hi Feather-Tail! It's raining... rose petals'

The original of 'Hi Feather-Tail' (above) is still available, not through Etsy but if you are interested you can email me at:
info@catherinecampbell.net

And with that, I can also say my little shop is getting fat! I have just added nine new prints. Here is a little preview...

sugar candy...

Introducing 'The Sugar Candy Mood Swingers'...

Scms_all

In 1992 nine sisters formed a band called 'The Sugar Candy Mood Swingers'. As you can imagine, the pressures of nine constantly swinging moods meant they didn't last very long...

These nine little originals have just been added to the shop, in fact it's all getting a bit crowded over there with inky smudges and coloured confetti so pop in to take a look if you're that way inclined. Here is Jane in a bit more detail (she played the keyboard)...

tinyshop...

I'm about the head off to the post office as the ink has just dried on four new little pieces for a show opening at Double Punch gallery in San Francisco called Tinyshop, curated by Antoinette Celes. I think this is going to be a great show and it also includes some of my favourite artists which makes me happy. Here is a little peek at my new stuff...

Crow

Owl

Fox

Rabbit

Take a look at the Tinyshop blog to see some great work and artist's profiles and all the details for the show.

p.s. These may pop up as prints quite soon in the shop... keep an eye out if you're interested, they are about 5" x 7" each.
